Member of the Save Our Home Task Force. A task force formed by then County Treasurer and now State Treasurer Richard Cordray. Many lenders, realtors, builders and county agencies have bonded together to fight the ongoing battle of foreclosures in the Franklin County area and expanding through the State of Ohio. Having public meetings in the areas most hit to get information out to those affected. Billboards have been donated to get the word out on who to call first. And Public Service Announcements have been put together to reach out to people before they get into trouble. Kathy was chair-person for the SouthWest meeting held in June, 2006.

Alternate Director for District 6 of the Ohio Association of Realtors.

Community coordinator for Grove City's National Day of Prayer. This is held on the first Thursday of May. The Community Breakfast is hosted by St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. An Open Church Prayer Vigil starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs through 8:30 p.m. The Community Evening service is presented by the Southwest Ministerial Association and is hosted by the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. It begins at 7:00 p.m.
